Family Owned
Established in the mid 1950's by Walter and Henson Howdyshell. They brought the sawmill out of the woods and based operations where it still stands today. Howdyshell Lumber turned into R&D Hilltop Lumber in 1983 when Russel and Dave Howdyshell became the owners. Our sawmill is now owned by Rusty and Roger Howdyshell, Russel's sons, who are the third-generation of owners.
